Live is the opposite of betting in the Prematch. In Pre-match, players place bets before the event, in Live – after they start.
What does Live look like?

A green mark next to the odds means that they have increased, and a red mark means they have decreased
Every match in Live has online statistics in Match Centre. Here you can see what is happening in the game, including points scored, player statistics, and a chronology of events.
Fonbet also offers a large number of high-quality live streams with a slight delay from real time. This delay is shorter than on national channels, so you'll know about match events even faster.
Streams with no delay are not offered anywhere. This is due to how streams are held and to help prevent latebettors, or people who place bets on an event after it already happened.
What do the odds in Live depend on?
From what's happening in the game. If one of the teams lets a goal in or someone is sent off, the odds of a win go up in real time. If a team scores a goal or ends up with more players on the field, the odds decrease.
We are watching the Atletico vs Villarreal football match.
Atletico scores in the first half. The probability of their victory has increased, so the odds of winning decrease. Also, the odds on the goals is 2.5 times higher.
total
Villarreal are tying at the end of the first half. Now the odds on Atletico's win have risen and the odds of a draw have fallen. The odds of a total over 2.5 has become quite low, because there is only one goal, in order for the bet to win.
What is the difference between Live and Pre-match?
In Live, bets are placed during a match. Odds change constantly depending on what happens during the game. For example, if a player on one of the teams gets a red card, the odds for that team to win will increase. If one of the match participants takes the lead in terms of points, the odds on that team winning will decrease.
In Pre-match, odds change less often than in Live. Analysts set odds based on the initial balance of power, such as statistics from recent matches and head-to-head matches, current team leader performance, the weather and insider information. If any important factors change, then the odds either go up or down.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of Live?
The most unique part about Live is how quickly its odds change. This can result in serious advantages or disadvantages.
In Live, bets are settled quickly
In one match, you can make several bets and, depending on their outcome, bet what you won on a new event or win back a loss. In Pre-match, you place your bets and wait for them to be settled later, but you can only use your winnings or win back a lost bet in a different match.
- We bet on a goal from the 10th to the 20th minute. The bet won.
- We bet all the winnings on a win in the first half. The bet loses.
- To compensate for the loss, you bet on a total over 2.5 in the second half. The bet won.
All in all during the match, you placed three bets and won two of them.
Live allows you to insure bets placed in the Prematch
If you placed a bet in the Prematch, but the match is not going your way, you can insure it with a bet in Live.
- We bet on the favourite to win before the match.
- Our team concedes quickly and looks weak.
- We place a bet that the outsider will not lose. So we will win one of the bets. The winnings may not cover the amount lost, but we will save some money.
You have all the information
There are too many unknowns before the match to place an accurate bet. It is unknown what lineup and what scheme the team will roll out, what game plan the coach will come up with, and which of the players is in good match form. In Live you have almost all the information: you can already imagine how the teams will play in the near future. This allows you to make a measured bet based not on assumptions, but on facts.
You have to make a quick decision
Live odds change every minute. For this reason, you have to make decisions quickly.
- In Live you want to bet on a T1 win.
- As you are reviewing the statistics and selecting an amount, your team scores a goal. The odds on a win fall sharply, so there is already no advantage to betting.
To place bets faster, use the One-Click Bet option. This lets you select an amount and place bets in a single click.
So how can you bet in Live?
Watch a few minutes of the match before betting
In that time, anything can happen and you'll miss out on favourable odds if you don't watch. After a few minutes of analyzing the game, you get an idea of how the team is going to be playing and what kind of shape the players are in.
Don't try to recoup your losses with large sums of money
In Live, it is easy to miss the flow of the game and start gambling away every bad bet, thus reducing your bank balance. To avoid doing this, decide for yourself the amount you can safely spend on one match, such as 5% of the amount of money in your account. Another option is
