Each match has at least two outcomes - a win for the first side or a win for the second side. The third outcome, for sports where the rules stipulate it, like in soccer or hockey, is a draw.
All events in have outcomes. You can choose and place bets on any of them. If the selection you choose was predicted correctly, you win. If it wasn't, you lose.
Sports
For example, let's say you choose Liverpool to win the match. This is your outcome. If Liverpool loses or draws, the bet fails. If they win, you collect the winnings.
In a broad sense, the outcome means any option for betting, such asortotals.handicaps
What do sports outcomes look like?
The outcomes are marked as follows: "P1", "X" and "P2". Sometimes "1" is written instead of "P1" and "2" instead of "P2".
- "1" or "W1" is a victory for the Home side
- "X" or "D" equals a draw
- "2" or "W2" is a victory for the Away team
To determine which side is the Home team and which is the Away team, look at the name of the match as it appears in the specific sport. The first participant is Home, the second is Away.
For example, in a Manchester City — Tottenham match, 1 stands for Manchester City and 2 for Tottenham.
How are the outcomes settled?
Outcomes are settled based on the results of the main time of the match. This is the case for sports in which the rules stipulate the possibility of overtime. Overtime is additional rounds in a match, needed in order to determine the winner, if the main game time expires and the match ends in a draw.
- We bet on a win for Juventus beating Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
- The regular time ended in a draw, and Juventus won in extra time.
- We lost our bet because the regular time ended in a draw, and the result of the extra time had no effect on the bet.
Among the popular sports, overtime is used in soccer and hockey.
- In football, 2 halves of 15 minutes each are played in extra time. If no winner is determined in extra time, the teams have a penalty shootout.
- In hockey, overtime is most often 1 5-minute half. The duration of the halves and the number of players on the ice depends on the rules of the tournament. If no winner is determined at the end of overtime, the teams have a shootout.
Basketball also has overtime, but it is taken into account when settling the outcome of bets.
What exactly is a dual outcome?
A dual outcome is a bet on two out of three outcomes of a match. A dual outcome is available only in those matches where the rules provide for a draw.
There are three types of dual outcome bets:
- 1X - win for the Home team or a draw
- 12 – one of the teams wins, it doesn't matter which
- X2 - win for the Away team or a draw
If you choose 1X and X2 you bet that your team will not lose. If you choose 12, you bet on the match not ending in a draw.
- We placed a bet on 1X in the "Roma" – "Lazio" match.
- Regulation ended in a draw.
- The bet succeeded because we bet that Roma would not lose.
What is an interval outcome?
This is a bet on the result of the match at a certain interval. The interval can be anything: the first 10 minutes, from the 1st to the 30th minute, or from the 60th to the 75th minute.
When betting on an interval outcome, which team is winning at the selected time interval is taken into account. The result of the time already played and the final score does not matter.
- At the end of the first half, Chelsea was losing 0-2.
- We bet on Chelsea to be winning from the 45th to the 70th minute.
- In the 60th minute, Chelsea scores a goal.
- By the 70th minute, the score is 1:2, and Chelsea is losing.
- The bet won because Chelsea was winning between the 45th and 70th minute.
Which is better – a normal or dual outcome?
A normal outcome is better if you are confident the bet will win. In this case you will generate more profits. A dual outcome has low odds, often two times lower than a normal one. This is because you are placing bets on two match results at once.
The benefits of a dual outcome is that you have insurance. This bet covers two of the three outcomes of the match, so you will have a better chance of winning. Also with the dual outcome you can insure other bets in Live.
- In pre-match we place a bet on the match favourite to win.
- As the match progresses, the outsider plays better and creates more danger chances.
- In Live, we bet that the outsider will not lose, and we insure the first bet against loss.
