How are wins on Multiple bets settled?

Multiple wins are the product of the bet amount and odds of all events in the Multiple.
  • We bet EUR 10 on a Multiple with a three-way outcome.
  • Odds of the outcomes: 2.00, 3.00 and 1.50.
  • Let's calculate the winnings: 10 × 2.00 × 3.00 × 1.50 = EUR 90.
If the outcome in the Multiple is calculated as a push, its odds become 1.00, and the odds of the whole Multiple are recalculated.
  • We bet EUR 10 on a multiple with a three-way outcome.
  • Odds of the outcomes: 2.00, 3.00 and 1.50.
  • The odds of the whole Multiple: 2.00 × 3.00 × 1.50 = 9.00, we can win EUR 90.
  • The outcome with an odds of 3.00 ended in a push and is now 1.00.
  • Let's recalculate the odds of the Multiple: 2.00 × 1.00 × 1.50 = 3.00.
  • Because of the push, our potential winnings have decreased, and we can now only win EUR 30.

What are Multiple bet restrictions?

There can be a maximum of 30 events in a Multiple bet.
You cannot add two outcomes in the same match to a Multiple. For example, you can not bet on the total and handicap, a goal in the first half and the exact score, and a total more than 1.5 and more than 2.5.
A Multiple bet cannot include events that affect each other. For example, you cannot include in a bet slip two bets on different teams or the results of the draw.

Is it possible to cash out a Multiple bet?

Yes, you can settle a Multiple bet before it completes. When you cash out, you will receive money from the bet, depending on its current odds of winning. If the odds of the outcomes in a Multiple bet are higher than they were when you placed the bet, you will receive less than you bet. If the odds are lower you will make a profit.
Cashing out a Multiple bet helps you make a profit early and not take a risk.
We put together a Multiple with three outcomes. We are sure of two outcomes, but the third makes us uneasy because we think it might not win.
The first two outcomes win. That leaves the third one, the one we're not sure about. We cash out the Multiple, get the money and get rid of the risk. Since two of the three outcomes have won, the cash out amount has increased, we will get more than we bet.
Cashing out a Multiple bet also helps to save some money and fund other bets.
We took a risk and placed a
Multiple bet for two outcomes with high odds. The first outcome does not win and we think that the second will also fail. In order to save something, we cash out the bet and we can leave with less of a minus than in the case of a loss.

Which is better – Multiple or single?

Multiple is a riskier yet more profitable bet than a single. The odds of the outcomes in a Multiple are multiplied. If you win, you get more money than if you bet for single odds on the same outcomes. In this case, one losing outcome will lead to the loss of the entire Multiple.
We chose three outcomes with the odds of 2.00, 3.00 and 1.50. Let's calculate how much we receive for the different bets. Bet amounts:
EUR
10 on the Multiple and EUR 10 on each Single bet.

How does a Multiple differ from a System bet?

The difference is in how the bets are settled, the amount of winnings and conditions under which the bets win.
Multiple
System

Minimum of two outcomes

Minimum of three outcomes

Maximum 30 outcomes

Maximum of 16 outcomes

All events in the bet must win

You choose the minimum number of outcomes to win

The odds depend on the number of outcomes

The odds depend on the selected number of outcomes to win

Systems are safer than Multiples because they don't require all events to be predicted correctly. When placing a System bet, the player chooses its size, or the ratio of the number of all outcomes in the bet slip to the number that need to be predicted correctly for the bet to win. There's no such variability in Multiple bets, where if at least one outcome is predicted incorrectly, the bet loses. The only way to save the bet from losing is to use insurance.
System odds are lower than Multiple odds. For System bets, the odds depend on the number of combinations. Odds are multiplied in the combinations and then added together. In Multiple bets, the odds of all outcomes are multiplied, so if the same events are selected, the Multiple bet earns more profit than the System bet.
If an Multiple wins, it will always earn you more. In some cases, Systems may turn out to be unprofitable, even if the bet technically won.
You place
EUR
90 on a System with event odds of 1.40, 1.50 and 2.00. System size is "2 out of 3", which means that only two events need to be predicted correctly for the bet to win.
In the System, outcomes are divided into Multiple bets depending on the size. With a size of "2 out of 3", the System has 3 Multiples with 2 events each, and the bet amount is divided equally between them:
  • EUR 30 for a Multiple with 1.40 and 1.50, potential winnings: EUR 63
  • EUR 30 for a Multiple with 1.50 and 2.00, potential winnings: EUR 90
  • EUR 30 for a Multiple with 1.40 and 2.00, potential winnings: EUR 84
If two events in the System were predicted correctly, then you earn a maximum of
EUR
90. This means that you don't make any profit from the bet, and in the worst case, you'll lose some of your money.
For this System bet to profit, all events must pass, and you'll get the sum of the winnings of three Multiples:
EUR
237. In this case, it would've been more profitable place a Multiple with these events, which would've earned you
EUR
378.
