With the character of a championship-caliber team

With the character of a championship-caliber team
Despite having some absences, Arsenal showed belief and… obsession with the title.

They left Tottenham no room whatsoever, doing whatever they wanted on the pitch at the Emirates, and the final 4–1 in the North London derby could easily be considered “modest” — it might just as well have been the halftime score!

The Gunners tore their city rivals apart and sent a message in every direction regarding the race for this year’s title, gaining a six-point cushion at the top of the Premier League!

Eberechi Eze became the absolute star of the triumph, scoring a hat-trick in his very first appearance in an Arsenal–Tottenham derby!

After Trossard opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a turn on the spot and a low shot, the Englishman took over and delivered his own personal show.

In the 41st minute he doubled his team’s lead, then scored his two most beautiful goals in the 46th and 76th minutes, finishing with his left and right foot respectively — both worthy of an award!

Richarlison made it 3–1 temporarily in the 55th minute with a lob from 45 meters out, but it’s as if the poor guy is… cursed, never able to enjoy the goals he scores.
