Bets on football matches are taken on the events that take place in regular time. Time added on by referees to regular time is defined as injury time (not to be confused with extra time, "two halves of 15 minutes," which is used in cup matches and NOT taken into account, other than in specially agreed cases).
For example, a bet was placed for Germany to win a quarter-final match. After regular playing time, the two teams were tied and two further halves of 15 minutes were required (extra time). Germany went on to win the game with a goal scored in the 120th minute of extra time. A bet placed on Germany to win is LOST because the regular time result was a DRAW. If you wish to place a bet on Germany to progress to the semi-finals, there is a special type of bet called "Qualify" for this.
Goals, substitutions and other game events that take place during injury time are considered to have taken place in regular time (first-half injury time takes place after the 45th minute, second-half injury time takes place after the 90th minute).
For example, in the 90th minute of the game, the score was 0-0. The referee added on five minutes of injury time and in the fifth minute of injury time, the home side scored. In this case, bets are calculated on the basis that the match finished 1-0 and the goal was scored in the 90th minute.
Bets placed on either team to win with a handicap attached. Handicaps can be plus, minus or equal to zero. To determine the result of a bet for total goals scored by the team on which the bet is placed, the handicap is subtracted (if the handicap is negative) or added (if positive) for the selected team (the handicap for the second team is not taken into account). If, after the handicap has been taken into account, the match result is favourable to the team selected by the Client ahead of the game, the bet is considered won. In the event of a draw, the bet is returned.
For example,
if a bet is placed on the first team and a negative handicap of -1 was placed on this team, and the match ends: a) 0-0, the bet is lost; b) 1-0, the bet is returned; c) 2-0, the bet is won.
A if a positive handicap of "+0.5" is set and the match ended a) 0-1, the bet is lost; b) 0-0, 1-0, 2-0, etc., the bet is won.
Bets placed on the outcome of the 1st half and final score - "Half Time/Full Time." With "Half Time/Full Time" bets, you must correctly predict the outcome of the first half and the final score. In the Sport section, initial letters are used to indicate these selections in the line: W - win, D - draw, with a selection made on the outcome of the first half, and the second - the final match outcome. The outcome of the second half for the calculation of this bet has NO significance.
For example,
if the match ends 1-1, but the first half ended 1-0, then the selection "W1D" wins.
if the match ends 1-0, but the first half ended 0-0, then the selection "DW1" wins.
if the match ends 1-0, but the first half ended 1-0, then the selection "W1W1" wins.
In all cases of bets linked to the number of players cautioned, dismissals are not counted. If a player is dismissed for two yellow cards, only one of them is counted. Cards shown to substitutes, reserve players, trainers or other individuals not participating in the match are not counted.
For example, in the match, three yellow cards were shown to the home team and four yellow cards were shown to the away team. Moreover, one of the away team's players received a second yellow card and was sent off. In this case, for the purpose of calculating bets, the result for the total number of yellow cards is counted as 3-3 and "a red card was given".
Bets placed on player metrics.
For purposes of calculation, events are considered to have occurred when:
For example, after the goalkeeper performed a goal kick, the ball went out of play on the touchline and the referee blew the final whistle. It is considered that a goal kick was the final match event to occur.
For example, the ball rolled out of play behind the goal line off a player from the defending team, and the referee blew the final whistle. A corner kick is not considered to have taken place.
Bets placed on a player's statistical (or other) metrics are eligible for return, if said player is not included in the starting lineup.
Bets placed on "Which event will happen to a player first" the Client must correctly predict which event in particular from a given selection will happen to a player first in a match. If the player did not enter the field as part of the starting line-up, then bets on that player are returned. The bet "Will Play Entire Match" wins only if the player plays the entire match and NONE of the other listed events happen to the player (no goals scored, no yellow cards received, etc.).
For example, the following bets placed on a goalkeeper using "Which Event Will Happen First": "Will Play Entire Match", "Will Concede A Goal", "Yellow or Red Card", "Will Save A Penalty", "Will Be Substituted".
The bet "Will Play Entire Match" only wins if the goalkeeper is not substituted, his team does not concede a goal, the goalkeeper did not receive a yellow or red card and if there were no penalties taken against his team.
If the goalkeeper is substituted onto the pitch, all bets placed on him using "Which Event Will Happen First" are returned.
The bet "First Goalscorer". The following options are available: "Via Penalty" - a direct kick from the penalty spot (without follow up); "Via Free Kick" - a direct kick from a standard position (touched of the ball by other players do not matter if the goal is scored by the original free kick taker); "Via Own Goal" - if in the match report the goalscorer is a player of the team that conceded the goal; "Via Header" - a goal is scored with the head (not an own goal); "Not Via Header" - all other methods of scoring.
For example, the score is 0-0:
- a penalty kick was awarded that the goalkeeper subsequently saved, but the player followed up and scored the rebound (with either foot) - this is classed as a goal scored "Not Via Header"
- a goal is scored straight from a corner kick - this is classed as a goal scored "From A Free kick"
For example, a free kick was awarded, the player scored but the ball took a deflection off another player (inc. the goalkeeper). If the scorer is listed in the match report as:
- the player who took the free kick - this is classed as a goal scored "From A Free kick",
- a different player from the scoring team, if the ball touched his head - this is classed as a goal scored "Via Header", otherwise - "Not Via Header"
- a player from conceding team scores the goal in his own net - this is classed as a goal scored "Via Own Goal"
Bets placed on the time when one event or another will occur. For example, the time of the first goal or first yellow card, etc. The ordinal minute in which the event occurs must be predicted. The precise time for calculating such bets is determined without taking into account seconds.
For example, the time of the first goal, if the first goal is scored with match time 00min 10sec, is "1st minute", 04min 10sec is "5th minute", 04min 59sec is "5th minute", 05min 00sec is "6th minute".
The bet "Match Result and Total Goals Scored". Here, a Client must correctly predict the outcome of the match and also how many goals will be scored in the match.
For example, a bet placed on "Germany to win and the total goals scored in the match to be less than 2.5" only wins if Germany win the match and the final score is 1-0 or 2-0. If Germany win the match 2-1, or by any score other than 1-0 or 2-0, draw or lose - the bet loses (ie. more than 2.5 goals will have been scored in the match).
The bet "Corners Will Be Taken From All Four Corner Flags". Here, a Client must correctly predict that corner kicks will be taken from all four corners of the football pitch - yes or no. When matches are "in-play" (found in the "Live" section of the website), the corner count is displayed in the statistical information text section in the form of four numbers, with each number responsible for its own corner. At the start of the game, the count appears thus: 0-0-0-0 (to the right of the current match score). If a corner kick is taken from one of the corners, the number 0 is replaces with an "X". The first (furthest left) number accounts for the closest left corner, as if you were sat in the centre stand. The other numbers account for the other corners, working round in clockwise fashion (furthest left, furthest right, closest right).
For example, the match finished with the following text in the statistical information text section: 0-X-X-X. Bets placed on "Corners Will Be Taken From All Four Corner Flags - yes" lose, bets placed on "Corners Will Be Taken From All Four Corner Flags - no" win. The match finished with the following text in the comments box: X-X-X-X. Bets placed on "Corners Will Be Taken From All Four Corner Flags - yes" win, bets placed on "Corners Will Be Taken From All Four Corner Flags - no" lose
Bets placed on goals scored from set pieces. A goal is deemed to have been scored from a set piece if no more than two touches of the ball (including the initial one) were made by players of both teams from the moment the set piece was won to a goal being scored. A touch of the ball by the defending team's goalkeeper is not taken into account.
Features of calculating own goals. When calculating the bets "Via Header" and "Via Penalty", as well as the calculation of other bets associated with individual and team statistics, own goals are not taken into account.
Features of calculation bets associated with video reviewing. Bets are taken on whether or not the referee uses the video assistant referee system (video review or VAR).
Confirmation that a video review is taking place is signalled thus:
1. For purposes of calculation, events are considered to have occurred when:
corner kick - in the event of an actual corner kick taken from the corner marker;
goal kick - in the event of an actual goal kick taken from the appropriate place in the penalty area after the ball has been declared "out";
out - in the event of an actual throw in from off the pitch after the ball has been declared "out";
offside - in the event of an actual free kick being awarded after an offside has been called by the match referee;
foul - in the event of an actual foul being called by the referee (referee whistles four foul);
the post or the crossbar (woodwork) - in the event that the ball hits the post of the crossbar and then remains in play (touched by a player or the referee, off the other post or crossbar, etc.).
Hits of the post or crossbar are not counted if:
The total number of corner kicks, as well as the number of yellow and red cards shown in a football match is calculated as per television broadcasts, which have unconditional priority over other sources when making decisions.
2. The times at which each event is deemed to have occurred, as per rule 4.18.6, are considered thus:
out - by the time displayed on the scoreboard at the exact moment the ball leaves the field;
foul - by the time displayed on the scoreboard at the exact moment that the referee blows his whistle to indicate a foul;
goal kick - by the time displayed on the scoreboard at the exact moment that the goal kick was taken;
corner kick - by the time displayed on the scoreboard at the exact moment that the corner was taken from the appropriate position;
yellow/red card - by the time displayed on the scoreboard at the exact moment that the referee gave a player a yellow or red card;
offside - by the time displayed on the scoreboard at the exact moment that the resultant free-kick was taken after the offside was called;
goal - by the time displayed on the scoreboard at the exact moment that the ball crossed the goal line and a goal was awarded.
Prediction on medical assistance on the field. The medical team is only considered to have entered the field when the referee grants permission and the player receives assistance. When settling predictions, the following is not taken into account:
Attention! For the intervals from the 41st to the 45th minute and from the 86th to the 90th minute, statistics are calculated without taking into account the time added on to the half or the match by the referee. In other words, when the timer reaches 45:00 and 90:00, the calculation of statistics finishes.
In the case of poor-quality video broadcast at the moment a corner kick is taken, indirect confirmation of the corner kick being taken is decided in the following order of priority:
In the case of poor-quality video broadcast at the moment a player is cautioned or sent off, indirect confirmation of the yellow or red card being shown is decided in the following order of priority:
Bets on matchday statistics.
When betting on matchday statistics, the total score or the number of correct selections for each of the matches may be used, depending on the description in the betting line.
For example,
In the bet "Over 2.5 goals in 6 or more matchday games" you win if 3 or more goals are scored in each of these 6 matches
In the bet type "All matches over 2.5" you win if more than 2.5 goals are scored in each game from that matchday.
In controversial situations which allow for more than interpretation of the event, the final decision is made by the Administration after taking into account the rules and general practice of bookmaking.
ATTENTION! It is strongly recommended that you read this section of the Rules carefully, as well as the Rules in their full-text form, before placing any bets.
